How to Bookmark the MPOP® Login Screen & Create a Desktop Shortcut
Sep 11, 2020
If you often find yourself scrounging around for the link to log-in to the MPOP®, this quick blog article will help save you time by allowing you to quickly log-in to the MPOP® when needed. There are two ways to do this:
Note: Keep in mind that I’m using Google Chrome as my browser on a PC computer. If you’re using a different Internet browser or you’re using a Mac computer, these steps may differ slightly.
Step 1: Click the star icon next to the URL in your browser.
Step 2: Name the bookmark so you can easily locate it (optional).
Step 3: To access the bookmark, click the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner of your browser.
Step 4: Select “Bookmarks”.
Step 5: Find your bookmark.
While my bookmark appears at the bottom as illustrated in the above screenshot, yours might not do the same. Because everyone’s bookmarks are organized differently, I recommend searching the bookmark drop-down for the unique name you chose to name your bookmark. If you created a folder, the bookmark will appear in that folder.
To Save the MPOP® Login URL as a Desktop Shortcut:
Step 1: Click/highlight the web address and then copy URL text.
Step 2: Go to your desktop and right-click.
Step 3: In the menu drop-down, select “New” then “Shortcut”.
Step 4: Paste the web address in the pop-up where it says “Type the location of the item”. Then click “Next”.
Step 5: Name your shortcut. Then click “Finish”.
Step 6: Access & open desktop shortcut.
That’s it. Now you can easily find and access the MPOP® login link when you need to log-in.
