Who is Dealer Teamwork?

Dealer Teamwork is made up of a unique group of successful automotive professionals who were fed up with seeing unproductive marketing solutions. Our goal is to create the most valuable marketing resources available and change the way car dealers manage digital marketing. An essential element of a Dealer Teamwork client’s experience comes from our proactive, Google certified account management team and the support dealers receive. 

What is the MPOP®?

Dealer Teamwork created automotive’s first Merchandising, Personalization, and Optimization Platform (MPOP®). This award-winning, patented solution helps dealers create, distribute and manage highly relevant marketing campaigns in real-time.

Dealer Teamwork’s MPOP® software helps dealerships create, distribute and manage new car, used car and service offers across their website and digital channels. Dealers can build and modify their new monthly offers in the MPOP® dashboard, and the MPOP® can automatically build and publish used vehicle offers. From there, offers are instantly pushed to their leaderboard page, relevant dynamic landing pages, social media, email campaigns, and paid search campaigns.

A significant competitive advantage is created using the dealer’s transactional data (leases, payments, prices, APRs, etc.) to provide the best results for in-market buyers find easier.

What is a leaderboard page?

The leaderboard page is what we call the primary offers page. This page is where all of your MPOP® ads are listed.

There are three different leaderboard pages: new vehicles, used vehicles and service offers. These pages help shoppers see all payment options easier and provide the information they need to help make a buying decision faster.

What is a Dynamic Landing Page?

A Dynamic Landing Page is a page we create for your website to host your MPOP® ads. Our team builds one landing page for each model you sell, leaderboard pages and service pages. Your offers are published to these pages, and your model-specific campaign traffic is sent to these pages.

These pages are designed to be highly relevant and help improve your search engine rankings. We are continuously improving the SEO quality and conversion optimization of these pages to make them as efficient as possible.

What is the Ad Quality Score?

The Ad Quality Score is an essential part of our patented platform. This visual guide shows you how to create the most effective offers possible. When a new ad is created, the Ad Quality Score is shown as red, yellow or green.

Your score increases as more items are added to your vehicles, such as the APR, lease payments and finance payments. The progress bar turns yellow, then green. The MPOP® will even provide you a list of the items needed to improve your quality score. This eliminates any questions you may have about creating effective, relevant and optimized marketing campaigns.

How long does it take to update my offers?

It takes only a few minutes to add a new or used car offer, edit it and publish it live on your site. We are always working hard to improve usability and make it more efficient for you.  If you work with your Account Team to fill out a rate table in the MPOP®, the software will automatically merchandise and publish ads on your entire used inventory for you!

Once your inventory feed is connected, simply select a vehicle and make it live. The MPOP® does the rest for you by preparing it for an email campaign or social post and by automatically updating your paid search campaigns, Facebook marketplace and social ads.

We only advertise a few offers every month. How many offers should I create for my dealership?

We recommend adding at least one offer for every model your brand sells. Once you have these added, you should also consider adding offers for each trim level as well. This creates more content for your pages while giving the buyer more choices to help them make a decision. This is how the MPOP® helps improve the buying experience!

Pro Tip:  ALWAYS make your best new car offer your “Featured Offer” for each model you sell. This improves the experience on your model-specific landing pages, and it improves the performance, quality, and relevance, of your paid search ads.

You can create unlimited used car offers, it just depends on what you have available. And, you can also build up to 48 service offers.

Can I add videos to my vehicle offers?

Add YouTube video to the MPOP®

Definitely! You can add a YouTube link to either an OEM video or your dealership’s video in the vehicle tab of the dashboard. Copy everything after the “/” in the sharing URL of your video. (IE: https://youtu.be/g5mLLbw8rwY )

Can I edit the text in my paid search ads from the dashboard?

When you edit your specials, your transactional offers and pricing publish to your campaigns in real-time. You are in 100% control of your campaigns when you add your data.

Your APRs, discounts, lease payments and prices update your ads to provide the most accurate, relevant and specific information for car buyers.

How many ads are in my Google Ads campaigns?

There are hundreds of ad variations available for Google in your campaigns, and the more offers you create, the more ad variations you unlock.

This gives Google more choices to answer the shopper’s search query, and match their intent, with the most relevant ads possible. This is why it’s important to include as many elements as possible in your offers.

Can I add my offers to my dealership's group site as well?

Absolutely! We can help you add your offers to your group site. There is a one-time set-up fee for this. Contact your Account Managers for more details about how to integrate your offers into your group site.

What happens when my offers expire, or the vehicle sells?

You’ll get an email notification when your vehicle offers and service offers expire. The vehicle is removed automatically when it is sold. However, the MPOP® can automatically replace the sold vehicle with another offer immediately. This automation feature prevents you from missing sales opportunities. Your vehicle marketing efforts now become more accurate and consistent.

Can I edit the design of my pages?

Yes! You can customize your dynamic landing page theme in your dashboard settings. You can also edit the content in the Pages Tool. This lets you edit the text, images, video and the order of your content sections.

What if I have a feature request? Can you help me?

Absolutely! Many of our best features have come from awesome dealers like yourself. Shoot us a detailed email with the request you’d like to see, and we’ll evaluate it and determine the best way to incorporate it into the platform.

What’s needed from dealers during Dealer Teamwork’s new client onboarding?

Here are the main things that come up during your account onboarding that will ensure your account is set up for success and starts off on the right foot!

  • Fill out a new client onboarding form where we collect basic information we need to set up your account and ensure we have the right dealer contacts
  • Give Dealer Teamwork access to your Google Analytics so we can set up a new reporting view and conversion goals

  • Accept the Google Ads link request in Google My Business (GMB) or give Dealer Teamwork access to your GMB account (we need access to your GMB if you are using our Local SEO service)

  • Give us access to your Facebook Page so we can automatically push your used vehicle offers to Facebook Marketplace and so we can run your Facebook and Instagram ads

  • (If you’re running YouTube campaigns) Link your YouTube account with your Dealer Teamwork Google Ads account

  • Work with your account team to get your inventory feed set up
  • Get Dealer Teamwork set up with your website so we can install your new dynamic landing pages for SEO and paid campaign purposes
  • CRM connection with your account team so your leads route properly
  • Provide DNI or call tracking numbers for sales and service campaigns if you have a provider
