And while we don’t want to bore you with every note and technical detail, we would like to highlight those platform features and benefits that are most exciting towards positively impacting your competitive advantage, results, and bottom line. In this blog post and ongoing, we’ll give you a glimpse of what’s both behind the curtain and in the forefront of our latest releases.

MPOP® PERFORMANCE
Search Widget now available on Vehicle Landing Pages (VLPs):
The Search Widget allow shoppers to easily filter through available model ads to find the specific trim they are looking for. Filtering is especially helpful for users on mobile pages where only a single ad is visible at a time. Avoid the long scroll! Improve the consumer experience with relevant information served up dynamically right in the palm of their hands.
- The search widget will currently default to the model year defined by the page to prevent other model years from showing at this time.
- Safeguards are in place should a search widget be added to a page with no ads present.
- Consumers are in control of their search with the provided filters should they decide to cross-shop a different price, year, make, model, style, or trim vehicle.
For Example:
BEFORE – Difficulty finding a specific vehicle without a way to filter a VLP. *Dealer had 60+ Ioniq 6 models at the time of recording.
NOW – Filtering makes it easy to narrow down the trim level and even cross-shop similar priced vehicles!
MPOP® Ad Disclosure update:
In an MPOP® Ad disclosure, any savings that can’t be attributed to a rebate is considered a “Dealer Discount”. We’ve adjusted that language to prevent any opportunity for a buyer to stack rebates on top of the dealer discount.
For Example:
- POTENTIALLY PROBLEMATIC TERMINOLOGY: “Purchase price of $58,660 includes $3,000 dealer contribution. Total savings is dealer contribution only and does not include manufacturer rebates.”
- OUR TERMINOLOGY: “Purchase price of $58,660 includes total savings of $3,000. Total savings is a combination of total manufacturer purchase rebates and dealer contribution.”
Google Vehicle Ads does not currently allow the ability to filter by the standard attributes in the feed, so custom labels have been added to the exports to allow filtering by assigned columns. For Example: Say that you only want to advertise non-CPO Ford F-150s and get them moving off your lot – now you can!
GBP Posts were recently changed from being an “Offer” to an “Event” type, improving visibility of ads. This is a valuable upgrade! In the past, the Offer type would not display directly in a GBP but would require the user to click “View All”. Now, when a GBP is an Event type – it will.
